Senior DevOps Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at NTT Limited – Philippines Branch, based in Metropoli Dr., Quezon city. In this leadership role, you will drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our development and deployment processes, ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our software solutions. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure and application strategies, lead innovative DevOps practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our systems. Your role

• Provision, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Design, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with a focus on GitLab CI/CD for application lifecycle management.
• Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Lead scripting and automation efforts using Bash, Python, or Ruby for configuration management.
• Implement monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch) and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.
• Enforce security best practices, implement security measures, and respond to incidents in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to align infrastructure and application deployment strategies.
• Maintain thorough documentation and foster knowledge sharing across teams.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in DevOps processes.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar software engineering role.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud resource management.
• Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby.
• Proficient in Git version control and branching strategies.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like AWS CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of networking concepts as they apply to cloud environments.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (preferred)
