Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Sports Betting Analyst to lead and optimize operations on our betting platform. This role demands expertise in sports betting analytics, risk management, and market analysis to drive efficiency, profitability, and compliance. As a key member of our high-performing team, you will collaborate with upper management to refine strategies, monitor market trends, and ensure seamless operations in a dynamic betting environment.

Your role

• Trading Operations & Risk Management:
• Monitor betting trends, market fluctuations, and trading limits to minimize liabilities.
• Align betting limit strategies with company goals while maintaining strict adherence to risk protocols.
• Market Analysis & Strategy Development:
• Analyze sports events, betting patterns, and customer behavior for local market to refine trading strategies.
• Stay updated on platform enhancements, competitor offerings, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with internal management to ensure strategic alignment in trading decisions.
• Team Leadership & Performance Management:
• Fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring top-tier execution in sports betting operations.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback and structured reviews to optimize team effectiveness.
• Process Optimization & Reporting:
• Provide detailed reports on trading performance, key metrics, and market movements to upper management.
• Work closely with the technology team to refine and improve platform functionalities.

Your Profile

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or senior experience in sports trading or betting analytics. (Experience with SABA, IBC platforms is an advantage.)
• Strong understanding of sports markets, player behavior, and risk assessment to optimize trading strategies.
• Experience working with local gaming platforms such as Arenaplus, Bet88, or other regulated operators is a plus.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and market monitoring to drive informed decision-making.
• Leadership experience with a proven track record of managing, mentoring, and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, mitigate risks, and improve profitability.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including compliance, marketing, and operations.
• Familiarity with betting regulations and PAGCOR compliance standards to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
