Truck Driver
Overview
Truck drivers transport goods from one location to another, often across long distances. They play a critical role in supply chains, ensuring that products and materials are delivered efficiently and safely.
Your role
- Operate large trucks, or delivery vehicles, over various distances.
- Help with loading and unloading goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition.
- Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries, considering traffic, weather, and road conditions.
- Maintain logs of working hours, distance traveled, fuel consumption, and other relevant data, as required by law.
- Ensure that the vehicle is always in good working condition, monitors the registration period, and schedule of regular maintenance.
- Follow all state and federal trucking regulations, including weight limits and safety standards.
- Keep in touch with dispatchers to update them on delivery progress or report any issues.
Your Profile
- At least Highschool graduate with 6 months experience as a Truck Driver.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- With driver license DL Code A,A1,B,B1,B2,C,D.
- Proven experience as a driver or similar role.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
